Sometimes it's good to take time out and study parts of your painting away from the main canvas. Fresh ideas often come. As an artist you never stop learning and finding new "tricks"
I really enjoy watching other artists' paint. It amazes me how everyone has their own style and approach. Sky Arts and Utube are amazing to watch when time allows.
My best friend is my sketchbook, its amazing what useful stuff I find in there that I might have done years before.
